Grid One Solutions is hiring Electric Meter Service Technicians to read, shut off and turn on electric meters and to deliver notices to customers about potential service interruptions. You will also learn to use the computer system to plan and complete daily work tasks.

Based in Brockton, MA, this full-time, non-exempt role offers hands-on field work with a focus on safety, customer service, and reliable electrical service support for utility clients.

Qualifications

• Must be computer and smartphone literate.
• Able to read maps and navigate congested areas.
• Independently manage time and workload to meet deadlines.
• Mechanically inclined with experience using a variety of tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform change out of existing electric utility meters and deliver notices as required.
• Ensure safe operation of company vehicle, equipment, and tools.
• Provide professional customer service and respond to internal and external customer needs.
