Qualifications

• Four years of line-related experience and Lineworker I classification or equivalent.
• Must have mechanical aptitude and knowledge of electric transmission and distribution.
• Ability to climb and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must obtain NH High/Medium Voltage License. CDL Class B required; ability to obtain CDL Class A with '0' endorsement within six months.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooters work as a single man crew on energized and de-energized lines and equipment at all voltage levels.
• Identify and isolate faulty equipment; operate switching devices on overhead and URD systems; work with Field Electricians on lines.
• Restore service by connecting/disconnecting transformers, temporary jumpers, and mobile substations; repair and re-energize primary.
