Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires High School or GED and Journeyman Line Technician certification.
• Minimum one year of experience as journeyman line technician or 5 years with equivalent experience in electric distribution.
• Experience in overhead and underground distribution construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Safely construct, maintain, and restore all phases of electrical line work.
• Perform work on energized lines and participate in switching operations.
• Climb poles and operate line equipment (bucket trucks, digger-derricks, etc.).
• Stock vehicles with materials and maintain PPE and time sheets.
