Xcel Energy is hiring a Groundman 1st Year at the Brush Service Center in Brush, Colorado. You’ll work on electric distribution lines, set and remove poles and towers, and assist with conductor installation and removal.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Possess Class A CDL and safe driving record.
• Must pass EEI Construction and Skilled Trades (CAST) test.
• Ability to operate and maintain hand/power tools safely.
• Willingness to travel to different Xcel Energy Colorado territories.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove overhead and underground conductors.
• Rigging for crane applications.
• Drive and operate multiple commercial vehicles.
• Support helicopter construction activities and use auxiliary equipment.
