Job summary

M&S Engineering, LLC in Georgetown, Texas is seeking a CAD Designer to join our distribution team and provide design on various utility projects. You will prepare construction plans using MicroStation and AutoCAD, coordinate with drafters and engineers, and support multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in CAD or equivalent, 2+ years of electric distribution design experience, and strong communication skills to work effectively in a team

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Aided Design or equivalent experience required.
• 2+ years of prior experience with electric distribution design.
• Demonstrated experience using MicroStation or AutoCAD.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare construction plans using MicroStation and AutoCAD.
• Coordinate with drafters, technicians, and engineers on assignments.
• Conduct or coordinate detailed phases of technical work.
• Assist in acquiring and verifying easement information and survey data.
• Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently.
