Job summary

EquipMap, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with hands-on experience in CNG and/or electric bus systems to maintain and repair a modern fleet at Southern California's Ontario International Airport (ONT).

Under general direction, you will perform journey-level maintenance and repairs to high-voltage systems, battery packs, and related components. This full-time role offers a competitive hourly salary and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401A plan.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining CNG and electric bus fleets.
• Ability to diagnose high voltage electrical systems.
• Capable of following OEM procedures and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Performs complex repairs on electric vehicles and shop equipment, including high voltage systems and battery packs.
• Troubleshoots and repairs drive trains, air brake systems, HVAC, and electrical wiring.
• Completes maintenance tasks, safety checks and service records per fleet procedures.
• Repairs heavy equipment and related components as required and documents work performed.
