Ferla Family Bikes in Gardena, California is seeking a motivated Bike Technician & Assembler to assemble, inspect, troubleshoot and repair our electric cargo and family bikes for customers. This hands-on position emphasizes attention to detail, safety, and quality in delivering high-functioning bikes.

Qualifications

• Previous bicycle assembly or repair experience preferred but strong mechanical experience will be considered.
• Comfortable with hand and power tools.
• Detail-oriented with strong focus on safety and quality.
• Dependable, punctual, able to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record preferred for local deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electric cargo and family bikes from start to finish.
• Perform final assembly, adjustments, and quality-control inspections.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and basic electrical issues.
• Adjust brakes, gears, wheels, steering, chains, and other components.
• Install accessories and replacement parts.
• Test bikes to ensure safety and proper function before delivery.
• Prepare bikes for customer pickup, shipping, or local delivery.
• Assist with local deliveries as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and complete work orders efficiently.
• Collaborate with warehouse to meet daily production goals.
