Job Description

This position will support our Trachte facility in Oregon, WI. As part of nVent, Trachte is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered metal buildings for industrial and commercial applications. We design, manufacture, market, install, and service high-performance products and solutions for mission-critical equipment, buildings, and essential processes. Our capabilities include prefabricated and on-site building options, framed and frameless construction, and a range of products from build kits to fully engineered integrated buildings.

Responsibilities
  1. The primary responsibilities of the electrician include:
  2. Installing wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment.
  3. Applying knowledge of electrical conduit to measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install.
  4. Familiarity with various electrical systems such as 120/240V single-phase, 120/240V delta 3-phase, 120/208V 3-phase, and 277/480V 3-phase.
  5. Splicing and terminating wires to lighting, power, and control equipment.
  6. Connecting power cables to equipment.
  7. Possessing a working knowledge of the NEC.
  8. Having working knowledge of switchgear integration is helpful.
  9. Working indoors at the Oregon, WI location.
  10. Driving to the same location daily.
  11. Holding a Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
  12. Experience in commercial/industrial settings is preferred but not required.
  13. Reading and interpreting safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
  14. Working hours are from 6 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Thursday, with up to 10 hours on Fridays.
