Job summary

Travis County is seeking a temporary/seasonal staff member to assist in general instruction of elections curriculum and training materials. You will lead small groups of election officials and workers in training, and work full-time hours with variable schedules, including nights and weekends. Must pass a criminal background check and be able to lift up to 35 lbs.

Pay is $20.00 per hour. Deployment may occur in the field to support polling places during Early Voting and Election Day.

Qualifications

• Excellent public speaking skills.
• Computer knowledge and written communication skills are required.
• Experience in elections process, customer service, teaching, or training preferred but not required.
