Job summary

Democracy Fund seeks a Strategy & Learning Manager for Elections to guide program strategy, learning, and grantmaking aimed at improving voter-centric elections. You will collaborate with the Elections team and cross-functional partners to develop evidence-based approaches, synthesize insights, and support a healthy democracy.

The role emphasizes learning cycles, evaluation partners, and capacity building, with reporting to senior leadership and alignment with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Deep passion for strengthening American democracy and supporting a voter-centric election system.
• At least 7-10 years of relevant experience in strategy, evaluation and learning.
• Experience with democracy-related issues and grantmaking is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy development for Elections with the Associate Director of Elections.
• Design and implement a comprehensive learning plan for the Elections team.
• Support grantee learning processes and capacity building.
• Contribute to monitoring, evaluation, and reporting for the program.
• Foster networks and collaborations across Democracy Fund and the field.
• Provide internal and external communications on learnings and progress.
