Travis County is seeking friendly, bilingual workers to handle inbound calls from the public and election staff in Austin, TX. You will provide voter information, assist with voting procedures, and help locate polling locations. Training is provided, and background checks are required.

This temporary/seasonal role offers paid hourly compensation and opportunities to contribute to the election process while developing communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English and Spanish required.
• Experience in call center or customer service preferred but not required.
• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Training will be provided.

They route calls to appropriate staff members, identify and elevate priority issues and track the nature of their calls. They must have excellent written and oral communication skills and possess the ability to organize and alphabetize. Training will be provided. Bilingual (English and Spanish) skilled workers needed. Past experience in a call center, customer service, dispatcher, elections processes or training preferred but not required. Must pass a criminal background check. The pay is $20.00 per hour.
