Job summary

Utah County is seeking an Assistant Director of Elections to assist with administering elections functions under the Elections Director. The role supports voter registration and services, the electronic voting system, and candidate services for Utah County. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field and have four years of elections experience.

Certification such as CERA is preferred, and supervisory experience is advantageous. The position requires U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field.
• Four (4) years of experience related to elections administration.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Assist with administering elections functions under the Elections Director.
• Support voter registration and voter services.
• Support the electronic voting system and candidate services.
• Represent the Elections Director in their absence.
