Job summary

State of Maryland's Frederick County Board of Elections seeks an Election Program Manager II to lead and direct local election programs, ensuring successful operation of absentee voting, voter registration, and election judge activities. Qualifications

• Minimum four years of experience applying election laws, rules and procedures in a local election office.
• Notes: substitutions possible for related clerical, data processing, technical or administrative experience or college credits as outlined in the job posting.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities of local Board of Election programs, such as absentee voting, voter registration, voting systems, and election judge hiring/training.
• Establishes policies and procedures for programs, oversees implementation and revisions.
• Develops and submits program budgets and long-range plans for program operations.
• Supervises program staff and coordinates with State Board of Elections and local boards as needed.
