Job summary

SSRS is seeking reliable Survey Interviewers for a one-day assignment on Election Day in Michigan. Interviewers will approach voters exiting polling locations to invite participation in a short anonymous survey and will collect responses for later tallying.

The role is temporary and in-person, with training completed online prior to Election Day. Compensation is $300 for the day, with payment issued about three weeks after all materials are received.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods and in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the assigned polling location.
• Must participate in a required online training session and rehearsal phone call.
• Must be punctual, dependable, and professional.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand and remain active throughout a 12-13 hour assignment.

Responsibilities

• Pass out anonymous surveys to voters exiting polling locations.
• Collect and tally survey responses.
• Call in or report results as instructed.
• Receive and return project materials at the end of the day.
• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while representing the project.
