Qualifications include bilingual plus (Ilocano/Chinese), 35 wpm typing, MS Office proficiency, and ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for long periods. Reporting to work on time is required; no remote work.

Qualifications

• Fluent Ilocano and Chinese are a plus.
• Typing speed of 35 wpm with accuracy; proficient in MS Office.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Comfortable working in warm conditions without air conditioning.
• Strong time management and ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions related to voting, both in person and over the phone.
• Gather voter registration applications from various public and private agencies.
• Assist with mailing out ballots and handling the return of absentee ballots.
• Handle various data entry duties.
• Assist voters with ballots and voting machines.
• Validate and audit voter applications and replacement ballot requests.
• Assist with the training and recruitment of employees.
• Other duties as assigned

This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

Position: Election Clerk

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: This position has a fixed pay rate of $20/hour

Experience: At least 6 months of customer service experience is required.Training on specific tasks will be provided.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Day Shift,7:45am to 4:30pm
