Job summary

ABB in Mebane, NC seeks a qualified tester to perform pre-testing on new products and validate manufacturing processes. Qualifications

  • Basic computer knowledge and skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Knowledge of voltage, current, resistance, AC/DC electrical circuits
  • Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
  • Candidate must already have a work authorization to work for ABB in the US

Responsibilities

  • Assisting the team in performing all required checks as part of the Factory Acceptance Testing process.
  • Inspecting and troubleshooting any identified issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective actions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintaining accurate testing records, data, and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and quality management systems.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, providing feedback and suggestions to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.

The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC

Your role and responsibilities:
  • Performing physical pre-testing activities for newly developed products to ensure product quality and validating manufacturing processes.
