Mount Sinai Medical Center of Florida, Inc. seeks an Eldercare Enrollment Coordinator to manage Medicaid enrollment, recertification, and related benefits for patients and families in the Hialeah area.

The role requires coordinating with Medicaid workers, handling 834/Gentran reports, ensuring timely processing, and delivering enrollment metrics to leadership. A Bachelor's degree is preferred with 2+ years in a healthcare business office. Health plan experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Medicaid enrollment activities including annual recertification and maintaining Medicare/Medicaid benefits.
• Provides face-to-face and phone support to prospects, participants and families on Medicaid benefits.
• Works with Medicaid Eligibility Determination Workers to ensure timely processing.
• Manages daily 834 and Gentran reports to prevent enrollment gaps.
• Handles monthly enrollment and disenrollment per established processes.
• Ensures data accuracy for enrollment and disenrollment reporting to vendors.
• Coordinates with enrollment team to enroll prospects in target month.
• Provides reporting to Executive Director and leadership on enrollment and recertifications.
• Serves as liaison between Eldercare and AHCA PACE Medicaid office.

We welcome all healthcare professionals to join our thriving community and contribute to our pursuit for clinical excellence.**Department:****Job Description Summary:**## Position Responsibilities* Responsible for all activities related to Medicaid enrollment including annual recertification and maintaining Medicare and Medicare benefits while enrolled with Eldercare* Provides face to face and phone support to prospects, participants and their families on all aspects pertaining to the Medicaid benefit.* Works directly with the Medicaid Eligibility Determination Worker(s) to ensure Medicaid application processing timelines are within expected parameters* Receives and follows up on the daily 834 and Gentran reports to ensure there is not a disruption in enrollment and or loss of Medicare or Medicaid benefits* Responsible for the monthly enrollment and disenrollment activities for the organization per established processes.* Ensures the accuracy of all data related to enrollment and disenrollment including all required reports to external vendors.* Communicates and coordinates with the enrollment team to assist prospects are enrolled in their target month.* Assists Executive Director and enrollment with required reporting measures and tracks key performance measures pertaining to enrollment, benefits and recertifications.* Provides IDT and leadership with reports pertaining to enrollment and disenrollment ensuring open communication at all time* Serves as the liaison between Eldercare and AHCA PACE Medicaid office## Qualifications* ### License/Registration/Certification + N/A* ### Education + Bachelors Degree is preferred. Certifications in medical billing, coding or medical records helpful.* ### Experience + At least 2 years prior experience in a health care business office or state agency with a focus on Medicaid coverage and benefits. Prior experience with Florida Medicaid including applying for benefits, enrollment and has an understanding of the ongoing requirements to keep Medicaid status is required. Health Plan experience in claims, contracting and credentialing is helpful.
