Touching Hearts at Home- NJ is seeking compassionate Companion Caregivers to provide friendship, support, and help older adults stay independent in their own homes within our service area.

As a part-time Companion Caregiver, you will offer companionship, assist with daily activities, transportation, meal prep, light housekeeping, and medication reminders, while encouraging engagement in hobbies and ensuring safety. A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle are required.

Job Description

Companion Caregiver – No CHHA License Required
Reliable vehicle required.

Are you compassionate, dependable, and enjoy helping older adults remain independent in the comfort of their own homes? We're looking for caring Companion Caregivers to provide friendship, support, and assistance with everyday activities for seniors throughout our service area.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and conversation




• Accompany clients on walks and outings




• Transportation to appointments, errands, and shopping




• Meal preparation




• Medication reminders




• Light housekeeping and laundry




• Encourage engagement in hobbies and activities




• Help clients maintain their independence while providing a safe, caring presence

Qualifications

• Compassionate, reliable, and dependable




• Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle




• Previous caregiving experience is a plus, but not required




• No CHHA license required
