Job summary

Senior Helpers in East Windsor, CT is seeking a Part-Time Caregiver to join our compassionate team. You will provide in-person care and companionship to seniors, helping with daily activities and maintaining dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving, PCA care, or similar roles.
• Excellent empathy and commitment to client well-being.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; caregiver training preferred.
• Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks.
• Reliable with strong moral character.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Able to pass background checks and employment verification.
• First Aid and CPR certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities like bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Provide timely medication reminders.
• Support mobility needs including transfers and walking assistance.
• Perform light housekeeping to ensure a clean, safe environment.
• Prepare meals with attention to dietary needs.

• Help with transportation to appointments and errands.
• Uphold safety and hygiene standards.
