Job summary

Nisqually Indian Tribe is seeking an Elder Care/APS Manager to lead daily operations of the Elder Care and Adult Protective Services program for tribal elders and vulnerable adults. The role focuses on protecting clients, fostering partnerships, and delivering wrap-around services with a culturally informed approach.

The Manager will supervise staff, manage budgets, ensure HIPAA-compliant recordkeeping, and advance program goals through collaboration with tribal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in public administration, social work, criminal law/justice or related field with two years of management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field with four years of management experience in social and community services.
• Experience leading, managing and supervising staff with budgeting and reporting responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of the Elder Care/APS Service Programs, including staff supervision, budget management, reporting, compliance and adherence to legal requirements.
• Develops and implement culturally relevant services aligned with the mission of the Nisqually Tribe, including strategic planning and timelines.
• Create and maintain policies and procedures aligned with tribal laws and regulations.
• Develops, submits, and manages grants and contracts to ensure compliance and effective service delivery.
• Engages with community organizations to raise awareness and build partnerships.
