Job summary

King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office in Seattle seeks a Forensic Accountant to join the Elder Abuse Multidisciplinary Team. You will support investigations, coordinate financial aspects, and prepare financial analyses and exhibits for trial, including charts and tables.

Candidates must have a minimum 4-year degree in accounting or finance, a CFE credential, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Hybrid work schedule; 8:00–5:00 with potential four days in office for six months.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• CFE certification required or in process of obtaining credentials.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial investigation techniques.

Responsibilities

• Assisting local law enforcement and Adult Protective Services in investigations; provide financial investigation guidance.
• Reviewing financial materials to determine investigation scope and coordinating with prosecutors and law enforcement.
