Job summary

Aerofoam USA in Abbeville, SC is seeking a Production Operator Level 1 for the 7 AM - 3 PM shift. You will run and monitor equipment that produces elastomeric insulation materials, adhering to safety, quality, and efficiency on the plant floor.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years in manufacturing, preferably in rubber or plastics, with strong attention to detail and teamwork. Must be able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and follow SOPs and batch recipes.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience in rubber, plastics, or extrusion manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• Able to read and follow work instructions, safety rules, and production documents.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Able to stand, lift, bend, and move materials throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures.
• Monitor product quality and make minor adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Follow batch recipes, material handling procedures, and production schedules.
• Record production data, downtime, and material usage accurately.
• Ensure work area is clean, organized, and compliant with 5S and safety standards.
• Assist in material changeovers, line startups, and shutdowns.
• Handle raw materials and finished goods safely and efficiently.
• Support continuous improvement and quality initiatives across the production line.
