Job summary

AMMEGA is seeking a Junior Chemist in Beacon, NY to research and improve rubber formulations, test materials, and ensure regulatory compliance. This on-site role reports to the Director of Product Engineering and offers exposure to elastomer materials and adhesive systems.

You will work with lab equipment, develop PRS, prepare data sheets, support QA, and interact with manufacturing to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Polymer Science or Chemical Engineering.
  • Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical background with problem-solving abilities.
  • leadership and business acumen aligned with Ammega values.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

  • Research and improve rubber formulations and raw materials.
  • Test, inspect and optimize materials used in Chemprene products.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance reporting (REACH, RoHS, FDA).
  • Prepare test reports and Product Data Sheets.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing to meet product performance and delivery goals.
