Job summary

Leader Tech, a Tampa-based leader in EMI shielding, seeks an Elastomer Technician to support the elastomer room with setup, operation and tending of machines. Training will occur during the day before transitioning to the night shift.

Responsibilities include running extruders, bonding steps, adjusting process parameters, reading plans, using calipers/micrometers, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace while ensuring product quality and defect reporting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring equipment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Operate extruders, mills, mold and click presses.
• Apply PSA, perform hot/cold bonding.
• Adjust speeds, pressures, temperatures and material flow.
• Monitor gauges and detect malfunctions; report issues.
• Assist bonding, cutting and related tasks.
• Read blueprints and use calipers/micrometers.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety rules.
