Job summary

Parker Hannifin is offering an engineering internship program designed to develop future leaders in technology and manufacturing. Interns will tackle challenging issues, gain practical experience, and contribute to new product developments in adhesives and coatings.

You will work on product application testing, lab evaluations of prototypes, data analysis, and documentation, while being mentored by experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.0 or better.
• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or related degree program.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support technical service and application development initiatives for new product developments and commercialized Parker LORD adhesives and coatings.
• Perform product application and performance testing; conduct lab evaluations of prototype formulations using DOE protocols.
• Conduct physical property testing, sample prep, digital microscopy, data mining and statistical analysis; prepare technical docs and reports.
