Job summary

ShorePoint, LLC in Herndon, VA is seeking an Elasticsearch Engineer with TS/SCI clearance to design, deploy and optimize Elastic Stack solutions across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments for federal security operations.

You will lead migrations, build automated pipelines with Elastic components, and implement security controls while collaborating with client stakeholders. Onsite role with strong growth opportunities in a fast-growing cybersecurity firm.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in systems engineering or infrastructure.
• 2+ years of production Elastic Stack experience.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance (Full Scope polygraph preferred).
• Experience with federal security controls (TLS, SSO/SAML, PIV/CAC, STIG).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and tune Elastic Stack solutions across cloud, on-prem and hybrid environments.
• Migrate legacy security platforms and modernize analyst workflows.
• Design data ingestion pipelines using Elastic Agent, Fleet, Logstash and Beats.
• Ensure deployments meet federal compliance and security standards (TLS, PIV/CAC, SSO/SAML).
• Build dashboards and Kibana visualizations for security operations.
• Develop IaC automation using Ansible, Terraform or equivalents.
