Job summary

Everfox Holdings LLC is seeking a Senior Elasticsearch Engineer in Chantilly, VA to design, deploy, and optimize enterprise-scale Elastic Stack deployments for mission-critical applications.

You will secure clusters with RBAC, TLS, and authentication, implement ILM and DR, and collaborate with software, data, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable search solutions. A TS/SCI with CI Poly clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/IT or related field.
• DoD 8570 Baseline Certification at IAT II or higher.
• TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance required for DoD roles.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain scalable Elasticsearch clusters.
• Develop indexing strategies for structured/unstructured data.
• Optimize search performance and relevance scoring.
• Monitor cluster health and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Configure Elastic Stack components: Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash, Beats, Elastic Agent.
• Implement ILM, backups, and DR strategies.
• Design mappings, analyzers, and ingest pipelines.
• Build dashboards in Kibana and integrate Elasticsearch APIs.
