Job summary

Jubilee Academies in Brownsville, TX is seeking a Secondary Teacher ELAR (Grades 6-12) for full-time service. The role reports to the Campus Principal and follows the 190 workday term with Monday–Friday schedules.

The candidate will develop and implement ELAR curricula, adapt lessons for diverse learners, and collaborate with staff to meet district requirements. A bachelor's degree is required, with official transcripts submitted.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to school curriculum with written preparation evidence.
• Prepare emergency lesson plans to cover material for 2 days.
• Accommodate differences in student learning styles in lesson design.
• Present subject matter according to Texas Education Agency guidelines and district policies.
• Use technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
• Participate in extended day and weekend tutoring as required.
• Supervise teacher aides or volunteers as assigned.
