Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a qualified teacher to provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences in Fredericksburg, Texas. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree, a valid Texas teaching certificate, and competencies in teaching core academic subjects.

Responsibilities include developing lesson plans, assessing student achievement, and maintaining a positive learning environment. Additional certifications may be required based on the assigned subject area.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.
• Student teaching, approved internship, or related work experience.
• CDL obtained within 18 months for coaches, ag teachers, and band directors.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans fulfilling district curriculum requirements.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement.
• Manage student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct.
