• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to the school curriculum and provide written evidence of preparation.
• Prepare emergency lesson plans to cover 2 days of material.
• Adapt lessons for different student learning styles.
• Present subject matter per Texas Education Agency guidelines and board policies.
• Plan instructional activities using appropriate strategies and materials for diverse learners.
• Assess student learning styles and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with SPED staff to modify curricula as needed for students with disabilities.
• Coordinate with staff to set instructional goals and methods per district requirements.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
• Incorporate technology to support teaching and learning.
• Participate in extended day and weekend tutoring as required.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
