• A Bachelors Degree in Secondary Education.
• A valid Secondary Michigan Certificate as a teacher in the State of Michigan with an English (BA) or Language Arts (BX) endorsement.
• Recent teaching experience at or near level in subject being applied for is desirable
• Demonstrated success as a collaborator and proven team player
• Knowledge of the “workshop” format of instruction preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of teaching to multiple intelligences
• Demonstrated successful communication skills with students, staff, administrators, parents, and community
• Demonstrated successful experience utilizing technology
