KIPP Academy Boston Charter School is seeking a talented ELA Lead Teacher for the 2027-2028 school year in Boston, MA. The role focuses on leading literacy instruction, designing rigorous lessons, and promoting an inclusive, high-expectations classroom culture.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of full-time teaching experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and a commitment to professional growth. MTEL/SEI endorsements are supported within the first year.

• 2+ years of full-time teaching experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Criminal Background Check.
• Willingness to obtain MTEL and SEI endorsements within the first year with financial and study support.

Responsabilidades

• Lead or co-lead a classroom with responsibilities such as leading a class, co-teaching, or stepping into a lead role as needed.
• Affirm, value, and challenge every student daily.
• Foster a positive, safe learning environment.
• Prepare rigorous, engaging lessons using provided curricula and resources.
• Set ambitious growth goals for students and monitor progress.
• Implement differentiated instruction and school-wide culture systems.
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams to address challenges.
