Job summary

ACCEL Schools LLC is seeking an ELA Content Coach for our online Florida program. You will support teachers in grades 3-10 with standards-aligned curriculum, pacing guides, and instructional resources, ensuring consistent pacing and coverage throughout the year.

You will analyze student performance data, collaborate with teachers to adjust pacing, and help identify gaps to address learning needs. Travel for testing and events is required several times per year.

Qualifications

• Support ELA teachers in grades 3-10 with implementation of standards-aligned curriculum, pacing guides, and instructional resources.
• Monitor pacing to ensure standards are taught within timelines and that content is covered.
• Track which standards have been introduced, taught, assessed, mastered, or require instruction.

Responsibilities

• Support ELA teachers in unpacking standards and understanding required knowledge and skills.
• Review curriculum maps, pacing guides, lesson plans for alignment with standards.
• Analyze student achievement data to identify strengths and instructional gaps.
• Collaborate with teachers to adjust pacing and priorities based on performance.
• Help identify prerequisite skills and standards needing revisiting to address gaps.
• Maintain vertical alignment across grades 3-10 for reading, writing, language, vocabulary, literacy.
