Job summary

Roseburg Forest Products in El Dorado, AR is seeking utility team members to support the production of Medium Density Fiberboard and to maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work a flexible schedule. The role offers training and development opportunities within a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of professional work experience is preferred.
• Willing and able to work a flexible or rotating schedule.
• Experience using a computer for record keeping and documentation.
• Able to work in extreme heat/cold, navigate catwalks and ladders.
• Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the position including climbing stairs, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping and bending.
• Ability to communicate effectively and constructively.
• Comprehension of complex work instructions and documentation.
• Ability to read, understand, and calculate basic mathematical equations.
• Must be team oriented.
• Willing and able to learn new jobs and skills.

Responsibilities

• Works safely and effectively in a team environment
• Demonstrates proper housekeeping and keeps a clean work space
• Continuously improves processes and procedures in work area
• Must be able to climb ladders to elevated work areas and to work in enclosed areas
• Actively train new team members, and attends meetings and trainings as needed
• Operates a variety of different hand tools. Some examples include but not limited to: shovel, broom, air hose, various types of brushes, and etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned
