Job summary

Country View Elementary in Weber School District is seeking a part-time Elementary Aide (EL/ESL) to support English Learner students. The role involves instructional assistance, administering assessments, and communicating with families to monitor progress.

The position is funded and may shift among elementary and other schools depending on need, with a 180-day calendar and a 5.75-hour workday. Internal applicants only and 28.75 hours per week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction to individuals or small groups of English Language Learner students in a classroom, pull-out, or other learning environment.
• Plans and provides instruction and learning activities.
• Confers with teachers, families, and the administrative team concerning student needs.
• Assists teachers and support staff to develop and evaluate goals and objectives.
• Participates in meetings and in-service training programs as assigned.
• Administers WIDA screener and annual WIDA ACCESS testing.
