What You'll Bring:
Candidates should possess the ability to:

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.

The Opportunity:
Under direct supervision from the Bakery Manager, the Bakery Clerk provides customer service and conducts various tasks within the bakery. This position includes assisting customers with bakery purchases, cleaning shelving and display cases, and working with the Baker to determine which items may need to be baked or decorated.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, and kneeling.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to: preparation, handling and serving food.
