Job description

Under the direct supervision of a Restaurant Manager, the El Super Cook is responsible for all food items prepared in the restaurant. The Cook will:

1. Portion and prepare food items prior to cooking.
2. Sauté, fry, or otherwise cook food on the kitchen line.
3. Ensure the use of the freshest ingredients and follow sanitation guidelines.
4. Prep recipes to standard to maintain product consistency.
5. Assist customers with orders and serve food to customers if needed.
6. Fill the display cases as needed.
7. Assist in the cleaning of the department.

Must be able to work a variety of hours including nights and weekends.

Food Handler Card or its equivalent certification is required for all positions related to preparation, handling, and serving food.

Hourly Pay Range: Minimum wage (depending on location).
