Job summary

NRHEG Public Schools is seeking an English Learner (EL) Specialist to support students learning English as an additional language. The EL Specialist will work closely with the district’s EL Director to develop and deliver lesson plans based on each student’s language-learning needs.

Responsibilities include supervising learning materials, monitoring progress, and communicating with teachers and staff to support student success.

Qualifications

• Experience working with English Learners is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, families, teachers, and the EL Director.
• Teaching or educational support experience is preferred.

NRHEG Public Schools is seeking an English Learner (EL) Specialist to support students who are learning English as an additional language.

The EL Specialist will work closely with the district’s EL Director to develop and deliver lesson plans based on each student’s individual language-learning needs. Responsibilities will include providing direct student supervision of learning materials, monitoring student progress, and communicating with classroom teachers and other staff to support student success.

This position is currently scheduled for approximately two hours per school day. Hours may be adjusted based on student enrollment and identified needs.
