Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with EKG or allied health settings preferred.
• Basic Life Support certification required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Verify physician's order for correctness and completeness.
• Follow relevant infection control procedures (handwashing, gloves, gowns, mask, etc.).
• Prepare relevant equipment and supplies.
• Performs electrocardiograms on adult and pediatric patients. Respond to 'Stat' EKG within 5 minutes of receiving call
• Explain purpose and goals of procedure to patient.
