Qualifications

  • Communicate effectively; stand and walk long periods; transport equipment as needed.
  • Motivated to learn and assist in other areas as time permits.

Responsibilities

  • Performs diagnostic electrocardiograms.
  • Positions and applies electrodes and connects leads to body areas.
  • Reviews patients' records and instructs patients prior to procedures.
  • Monitors patients during procedures and reports abnormal findings.
  • Edits and forwards result to attending physician for analysis and interpretation.
  • Maintains EKG equipment and supplies.
