Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare, Inc. (TMH) is seeking an EKG Technician to perform electrocardiograms across hospital areas and support cardiovascular lab operations.

Minimum education is a high school diploma with no experience required, though 1 year in a cardiovascular lab and arrhythmia knowledge are preferred. Completion of an Arrhythmia course within the first year is required. TMH is an equal opportunity employer and drug-free workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum: No previous experience is required; Preferred: 1 year of Cardiovascular Lab or cardiac related experience; Knowledge of arrhythmias.
• Successful completion of Arrhythmia Course required within first year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Completes all types of electrocardiograms in all areas of the hospital.
• Responds to CRTs and performs EKGs as needed.
• Performs clerical tasks relating to tasks performed by the Cardiovascular Labs, (scheduling, processing reports, recording pertinent information into logs).
• Maintains equipment and keep updated.
• Maintains super user status for Pyramis and Vision Premier.
