Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare seeks an EKG Technician to perform all types of electrocardiograms across the hospital, respond to CRTs, and support clerical tasks in the Cardiovascular Labs.
Responsibilities include scheduling, processing reports, logging pertinent information, and maintaining equipment. The role requires a HS diploma and may require an Arrhythmia course within the first year; vocational training is a plus, with emphasis on accuracy and reliability.
Completes all types of electrocardiograms in all areas of the hospital. Responds to CRTs and performs EKGs as needed. Performs clerical tasks relating to tasks performed by the Cardiovascular Labs, (scheduling, processing reports, recording pertinent information into logs). Maintains equipment and keep updated. Maintains super user status for Pyramis and Vision Premier.

Required Education:
Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; Preferred: Vocational/technical school degree (job related)
Required Experience:
Minimum: No previous experience is required; Preferred: 1 year of Cardiovascular Lab or cardiac related experience; Knowledge of arrhythmias.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
Successful completion of Arrhythmia Course required within first year of employment.
