Job Description

Performs medically prescribed electrocardiography procedures including electrocardiograms, stress testing (regular, nuclear, dobutamine), signal‑average electrocardiograms, Holter monitors and event monitors. These procedures are performed across the patient population; inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric. Participates in a team‑oriented, patient‑focused delivery of care model and assists in other areas of the Noninvasive Cardiology Laboratory.

Education and Credentials

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate of Applied Science (AA, AAS, or AOS) preferred; AAS in health‑related science (including Cardiovascular Technology) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 6 months required.

Experience

1 year of experience in a hospital setting preferred. Electrocardiography certificate required upon hire.
