Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare North Cypress is seeking an EKG Technician to join our cardiovascular services team in Cypress, TX. You will perform standard EKG, EEG, Holter, stress testing and non-invasive vascular procedures while maintaining patient records and providing direct care to patients of all ages.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, BLS certification, and experience in a hospital setting. The position offers comprehensive benefits and a supportive work environment within a leading

• High school or GED required.
• Successful completion of EKG course preferred.
• 1 year experience in hospital setting preferred.
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association).
• Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Interprets Rhythms and Arrhythmias.
• Reports all changes in heart rate/rhythm to appropriate nursing staff.
• Maintains Telemetry supplies and equipment.
• Records patient condition utilizing computerized documentation systems.
• Performs duties with full understanding of related age specific factors.
• Orients and mentors new staff members.
• Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

Our cardiovascular services teams are caring individuals committed to providing the highest quality care. We are looking for a new EKG Technician. Our EKG or Stress Tech will perform standard EKG, EEG, Holter Monitor, stress testing and non-invasive vascular procedures.
