Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. seeks an experienced Civil Engineer EIT to lead site development and redevelopment projects in the Novi/Detroit, MI area.

You will oversee design coordination for multi-family residential, retail, corporate, and industrial sites, ensuring high-quality documentation and adherence to budgets. The candidate brings deep civil engineering experience, problem-solving skills, and a track record of delivering complex projects from start to finish.

Qualifications

• EIT Civil Engineer with 3+ years of land/site development experience.
• Experience in Civil/Land Development projects and construction document development for public sector clients.
• Strong project management and client relationship skills at senior level.
• Proven ability to lead Civil Engineering teams and manage budgets.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroStation; knowledge asset is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the completion of construction documents for site development and water resources.
• Serve as a technical resource, providing guidance on project processes.
• Represent Arcadis with external teams and stakeholders through professional communication.
• Organize project structure, staff planning, quality controls, and budgets.
• Oversee and prepare construction documents, calculations, and reports for clients.
• Ensure professional standards and provide mentoring to team members.
• Motivate the team to meet goals and manage large project budgets.
