The EIS Apprenticeship is designed to build technical skills in the electrical and instrumentation discipline and gain experience in field operations. As part of the program, apprentices will work with a range of equipment and systems such as overhead power lines, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), transmitters, and communication systems and more, providing valuable exposure to real-world applications in the industry. Through a combination of structured training and immersive on-the-job learning, Apprentices are introduced to the complexity and criticality of work management, maintenance execution, and equipment servicing/repair. The position provides direct exposure to the Chevron Way Values and the strong safety culture that defines the Shale & Tight Business. Apprentices will work closely with a dedicated mentor, complete two assign ments across different operational areas to develop a broad understanding of how teams an d functions work together to safely deliver production and minimize downtime and will also participate in computer-based and classroom training .
This is a temporary 6 - month field-based position .
