Job summary

Validation & Engineering Group, Inc. (V&EG), a Pinnaql company, seeks an EHSS Coordinator to support regulated pharmaceutical and biotechnology projects in Puerto Rico.

You will coordinate Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability activities for project execution and construction-related work. You will help ensure safe project execution, monitor EHSS compliance, coordinate permits and field safety activities, and assist teams in aligning with site procedures and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Science, or related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Proven ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple priorities in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate EHSS activities for capital projects, engineering initiatives, and construction-related work.
• Coordinate project safety activities in alignment with site EHSS procedures and requirements.
• Develop and implement EHSS plans, permits, and field safety coordination activities.
• Coordinate safe work permit activities and contractor safety during project execution.
• Assist with toolbox talks, safety communications, and EHSS awareness initiatives.
• Participate in field inspections, hazard identifications, and safety observations.
• Support investigation and documentation of EHSS incidents and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering, Operations, contractors, and teams to support safe execution.
• Track and report EHSS metrics and project-related safety documentation.
• Participate in project meetings and communicate EHSS expectations, risks, and action items.
• Support environmental compliance activities and waste handling per site procedures.
