Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in the Northeast region seeks an experienced EHSS leader to oversee OSHA, EPA, and internal safety programs across 2,200+ retail locations. You will partner with field leadership to promote compliance, risk reduction, and sustainable practices.

The role emphasizes program development, incident tracking, and regulatory alignment, requiring strong communication and cross-functional collaboration. Travel up to 50% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 6+ years of relevant EHSS experience.
• 3–5 years of management or leadership experience.
• Willingness to relocate to NE BSRO Division and travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Administer comprehensive OSHA, EPA, and company EHSS compliance programs through leadership engagement, worksite analysis, hazard prevention and control, training, and teammate involvement.
• Develop and implement EHSS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide strategic input to EHSS and operational leadership by identifying field concerns, compliance gaps, trends, and corrective action opportunities.
• Drive division-wide EHSS strategy implementation using leading and lagging indicators to promote a culture of compliance and safety.
• Manage day-to-day operation of the division’s EHSS function, including store self-assessments, site walk-throughs, and coaching Area Managers.
• Provide guidance on OSHA, NIOSH, ANSI, NFPA, EPA, and other regulations; oversee inspections and return-to-compliance activities.
• Oversee incident reporting, investigation, tracking, and corrective actions; coordinate with workers’ compensation on injuries.
