Bridgestone Americas, Inc. seeks a Safety & Health Coordinator for its Trenton, SC plant. You will lead health and safety initiatives, identify hazards, and liaise with engineers, management, and regulatory authorities to prevent recurrence of incidents.

The role requires training staff, conducting audits, maintaining records of injuries and absences, and ensuring compliance with company and government standards while fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Formación

• Typically requires 5+ years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Or 3+ years with a master’s degree, or a PhD without experience.

Responsabilidades

• Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision
• Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals
• Supports continuous improvement/automation activities
• Uses advanced analytical/technical problem solving to develop new solutions to existing problems/procedures
• Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
