Job summary

Mennel Milling Company is seeking an EHS Transportation Manager to lead the Environmental, Health, and Safety programs for our transportation operations at the Fostoria location. You will ensure DOT, OSHA, EPA compliance and drive a proactive safety culture across fleet and field operations.

Ideal candidates have a strong background in transportation safety, regulatory compliance, and experience in food manufacturing or logistics, with a commitment to continuous improvement and risk reduction.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Hygiene, Transportation, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years EHS experience with emphasis on transportation safety and DOT compliance.
Experience in food manufacturing, transportation, logistics, or fleet operations preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee Environmental, Health, and Safety programs for Mennel's transportation operations, ensuring compliance with DOT, FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.
Serve as SME for transportation safety initiatives, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.
Develop and deliver transportation safety training programs and support driver safety initiatives.
